Terms of Service

DJ MUSIC TOOLS Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 2026-05-19. These terms explain how DJ MUSIC TOOLS software, accounts, licenses, support, and refunds work.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, installing, accessing, or using DJ MUSIC TOOLS software, websites, accounts, downloads, license keys, or related services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software or services.

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will apply when posted to this website or otherwise made available to customers.

2. Products and Accounts

DJ MUSIC TOOLS provides downloadable software utilities and related account services for DJs and music-library workflows. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, keeping your login credentials secure, and using the software in compliance with applicable laws and third-party platform rules.

3. Software License

When you purchase a product, DJ MUSIC TOOLS grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use that software for your own personal or internal business use.

Unless a product page says otherwise, each purchased license may be activated on up to two machines at the same time. You may not share, sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, publish, or make your license key available to others.

A lifetime license means the license key for the purchased major version does not expire on a calendar date while your license remains in good standing. It is not a subscription, rental, or transfer of ownership of the software, source code, brand, algorithms, services, or intellectual property.

Lifetime access does not mean that every future version, paid upgrade, operating system, hardware platform, DJ application, third-party database, network service, or security requirement will be supported forever. If a third-party service, operating system, or platform change makes continued operation impractical or impossible, we may provide updates when commercially reasonable, but we do not guarantee perpetual compatibility.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, bypass activation, remove copyright notices, tamper with licensing systems, or use the software to build a competing product except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.

4. Downloads, Updates, and Support

Downloads are provided through your account or another delivery method we choose. Updates, support, and platform availability may vary by product. We may modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue products or downloads when needed for security, maintenance, compatibility, business, or legal reasons.

5. CrateTag Accuracy Notice

CrateTag and related tagging features are designed to help identify, organize, and improve music metadata, but they do not guarantee 100% accuracy. Artist names, track titles, versions, remixes, featured artists, punctuation, capitalization, release details, and database results can differ depending on where files and metadata were obtained.

Accuracy may be reduced by badly tagged files, over-tagged files, missing metadata, unofficial edits, mislabeled filenames, duplicate tracks, corrupted files, inconsistent naming conventions, or conflicting third-party data. You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them and for keeping backups of your music library before applying bulk changes.

6. Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase. Refunds are available only when the product has a defect, material error, or non-functionality that we cannot reasonably resolve after troubleshooting.

We may ask you to provide verification of the error, non-functionality, or defect, such as screenshots, crash logs, system details, account details, reproduction steps, or other reasonable information needed to diagnose the issue.

Refunds are not provided for non-use, no longer needing the product, change of mind, accidental purchase after successful delivery, failure to review product requirements, preference-based dissatisfaction, or lack of time to use the software. Approved refunds may revoke your license and access to the refunded product.

7. Payments and License Delivery

Prices are shown at checkout and may change at any time before purchase. Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers. Before final payment, you may be asked to affirmatively agree to these terms, acknowledge the license disclosure, and review the refund policy. After successful payment, license keys and downloads are delivered through your account or another method we provide.

8. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for backing up your files, verifying metadata changes, maintaining compatible systems, protecting your account, and ensuring that your use of our tools does not violate copyright, license, platform, or other third-party rights.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software and services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, perfect metadata results, compatibility with every file, or compatibility with every present or future operating system, DJ platform, or third-party service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DJ MUSIC TOOLS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, damaged libraries, interrupted performances, business interruption, or replacement costs arising from use of or inability to use the software or services.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the website, creating an account, contacting us, or purchasing software, you acknowledge that we process information as described there.

12. Contact
